The 2024 Instrumented Test Catalog

312 Trucks.
One Honest Bench.

Half‑Ton · Heavy‑Duty · Diesel · EV · Mid‑Size

Eleven months on the 14,000‑HP chassis dyno and the 1.6‑mile instrumented loop at our Loveland facility have produced the most complete independent review catalog in the truck press. No OEM numbers. No dealer press kits. Just a roller, a load cell, a notebook, and a wrench.

Every badge you see in this catalog was earned. We strap the truck to the rollers, we load the trailer, we count the gallons. If a manufacturer publishes a number we can't repeat, we publish that too — and we say who's closer to the truth.

Featured Review of the Month

2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD · Duramax

The truck that wouldn't quit on the Loveland grade simulation.

Three weeks on the rollers, 1,840 miles on the loop, and a 12% sustained grade test that left three competitors cooking their transmissions. We towed a 30,000‑lb fifth wheel up the dyno's simulated Eisenhower grade eleven times in a row without a derate. The Allison‑Duramax pairing has quietly become the most under‑appreciated powertrain in the segment.

"Mine's at 142k miles. One set of front pads, two batteries, zero transmission work. It tows a 26-foot enclosed car hauler across Wyoming twice a month and just goes."
