The 2024 Instrumented Test Catalog
Half‑Ton · Heavy‑Duty · Diesel · EV · Mid‑Size
Eleven months on the 14,000‑HP chassis dyno and the 1.6‑mile instrumented loop at our Loveland facility have produced the most complete independent review catalog in the truck press. No OEM numbers. No dealer press kits. Just a roller, a load cell, a notebook, and a wrench.
The Five Segments
Every trim we tested in 2024 lives in one of five segments. Jump straight to the cohort that matches your shopping intent — each card opens to a sortable sub‑catalog with measured dyno numbers and a long‑term reliability index.
1500 / F‑150 / Tundra / Titan
2500 / 3500 / Super Duty / Chassis Cab
Power Stroke · Cummins · Duramax

Colorado / Ranger / Tacoma / Gladiator
312 distinct configurations instrumented in 2024 across payload, towing, fuel economy and 0–60 benchmarks.

Open the Full CatalogEvery badge you see in this catalog was earned. We strap the truck to the rollers, we load the trailer, we count the gallons. If a manufacturer publishes a number we can't repeat, we publish that too — and we say who's closer to the truth.

The method: a 14,000‑HP‑capacity chassis dynamometer and a 1.6‑mile instrumented loop at our 24,000 sq. ft. facility in Loveland, CO — cross‑checked against telemetry from 1,247 owner‑tied trucks averaging 38,000 logged miles each.
Long‑Term Truck Index
The platform's measurable scale — independent test miles, owner‑tied telemetry, monthly audience, and the country's most‑opened truck newsletter.

Featured Review of the Month
The truck that wouldn't quit on the Loveland grade simulation.
Three weeks on the rollers, 1,840 miles on the loop, and a 12% sustained grade test that left three competitors cooking their transmissions. We towed a 30,000‑lb fifth wheel up the dyno's simulated Eisenhower grade eleven times in a row without a derate. The Allison‑Duramax pairing has quietly become the most under‑appreciated powertrain in the segment.
"Mine's at 142k miles. One set of front pads, two batteries, zero transmission work. It tows a 26-foot enclosed car hauler across Wyoming twice a month and just goes."
